Mayfair TOWNHOUSE
Renovation of a Grade Two listed townhouse set in the discerning district of Mayfair, London. This house caters the individual needs of a young family.
This project showcases imposing architectural features throughout such as high ceilings, decorative plasterwork, paneling and marble fireplaces. The latter provide an elegant backdrop to the classic / contemporary cabinetry, loose furnishings and decorative lighting.
The palette leans towards neutral colours and each room has its own individual character provided by soft colour accents. The principal room’s daring, yet timeless, sage green conjures a sense of quiet luxury. Touches of sophisticated finishes appear from hand-painted wallpapers, antique mirrors, polished marbles and opulent fabrics.
The Family Room U-shaped banquette seating combines beauty and comfort and the Kitchen engineered marble used as worktop and splash-back provides the ultimate level of practicality without compromising the look of the stone.
As “working-from-home” has become an integral part of our lives, the house features two study areas. The Library is the principal home office where the imposing cabinetry detailing echoes the paneling details of the Reception Room. The Workshop is a cozy retreat with a restful palette of petrol blue cabinetry and woven wallpapers.
