Hampstead Family Home
A North London family home where period interior architecture blends with contemporary furnishings.
The owner of this historical house built at the beginning of the 20th Century came to us with a specific brief in order to create a warm and welcoming family home with a understated elegance feel throughout.
“I want every room to feel cosy and inviting”
Andrea worked with a warm neutral base palette and added soft accents of colours to each room to give each room their own unique personality. He also included sumptuous fabrics and refined materials such as timbers, bronzes and antiqued mirrors to enrich each scheme.
The soft palette provides a perfect backdrop for a collection of carefully curated contemporary paintings. Andrea worked with several galleries and artists commissioning truly unique pieces that elevate and complete each room.
“I particularly love the abstract white piece in the Master bedroom whose organic white shapes complement the delicate fireplace surround”
Andrea’s work on this project has been focused in understanding the requirements of this family modern living and to ultimately enriching their life through outstanding design by adding character, warmth, serenity and a timeless elegance to their home.
